Free Concert - Friday 19th February. 1pm—3pm
NSBP are holding a free concert in Brunswick Church (behind Fenwicks) and this event is open to everyone.
Newcastle Newcastle Society for Blind People - UpdateMale Chorus will entertain us for this special event and refreshments will also be provided free of charge, however donations on the day gratefully accepted (to pay towards the cost the church hire). Please spread the word to your family and friends—we hope to see many of you there.

NSBP Holiday - 12th—16th April 2010
This year, NSBP have booked with Creative Travel, who specialise in holidays for people with disabilities, and we have decided to try their Esplanade Hotel in Dunoon. This is situated on the promenade, at the edge of the town, which is on the flat. It looks lovely and is a friendly 3* hotel, with gardens, lounge bar and dance floor. Rooms include private facilities, TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making.
Cost: £259 for 4 nights to include:
• Executive coach and ferry crossing to Dunoon
• Dinner, bed and breakfast
• Excursions to Oban, Inverary, Luss (on Loch Lomond) and Tighnabruaich
• Our own courier (trained in visual awareness) will give commentary on excursions.
• Entertainment each night
• Free holiday insurance
• No single room supplement (8 singles)
• Single occupancy upgrade of twin room supplement @ £7 per night.
A deposit of £35 is payable immediately, and the balance is to be paid by 10th March.

We are currently reviewing our services and would greatly appreciate it if you could help us with this by completing a questionnaire. We would like to hear your comments about the services you currently use or have used in the past (or not as the case may be).
All questionnaires returned will be entered into our free draw for with a 1st prize of a £25 Marks & Spencer voucher and bottle of wine and a 2nd prize of a £15 M&S gift voucher.
We are posting the questionnaire to everyone who receives our update but if you find it a struggle to complete the form, let us know and we will complete the survey with you over the telephone (at our cost) or if you want to pop into our office someone will help you. The questionnaire can be returned to us in the Freepost envelope enclosed with the update. No stamp needed.
